Our dive sites are fantastic if you have non divers in the family who still want to enjoy the day out with you. They can snorkel above, or just lay back and catch the sun. Here are just a small selecton of a few firm favourites.
Less than five minutes away from Marine Divers is one of our most popular dive sites, Sea Caves. It is the easiest and safest dive site in the area with an easy walk in entry and exit point. We like to take our Discover Scuba divers here, especially those who haven't been diving for a while or divers who are a little bit nervous or unsure of their ability. This is the location for conducting the confined water portion of the Open Water Course. Sea Caves enables you to enjoy a leisurely dive entering from the shallows and away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and crowds. Diving out of the bay gradually getting deeper, you will be delighted to discover a naturally formed archway to swim through before exploring the history of Cyprus by finding ancient terracotta pots that are scattered along the sea bed. Sea caves dive site also descends to a depth of 15m and has more to offer once you are PADI Open Water Certified.
Amphitheatre & The Stage
With only a two minute drive in the free Marine Divers transport vehicles you may enjoy another one of our popular dive sites the Amphitheatre. The name was created due to the rock formations creating a "replica" of an Amphitheatre! This dive is great for beginners and experienced divers alike. After striding into the water you are able to drop down just a few meters and make your way gradually towards this amazing phenomenon. Along the way look out for Groupers, Yellow spotted moray eels, flute fish, and octopus. A dive designed to allow any ability of diver to enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery.
At Cynthiana beach, again only minutes from the Marine Divers Centre, there is a natural sea water lagoon which makes an excellent training venue for beginners. This is the location for our Bubble Maker programme as it is easy and safe for the youngsters, and allows the rest of the family to be close by to watch, take those special holiday snaps and be reassured of their children’s safety and fun. Beyond the lagoon there lies a fabulous dive site for everyone. Once out of the calm of the lagoon, divers slowly descend discovering the many rock formations, explore a swim-through and enjoy the wide variety of marine life. This dive site is also ideal for fantastic night dives.
Within yet another two minute drive from Marine Divers is Pistol Bay, a great dive site loved by everyone, with lots of swim-trough’s to explore, you'll want to spend as long as you can at this dive site.
This dive is a perfect place for people who love diving, whether professionally or as a hobby. The right weather conditions and crystal clear water make this an ideal diving destination for anyone. This is a very scenic dive with a wall that's Jurassic in appearance, a spectacular cave and swim-through. The cave is covered with a variety of colourful calciferous algae. Both sides of the island presents you with 2 great dives.
